Smoke detectors from Hekatron Brandschutz are 100-percent made in Germany.
Our smoke detectors meet the highest quality criteria and are allowed to carry the Q-Label quality certificate for smoke detectors. Our smoke detectors are used a million times over in Germany and have proven themselves many times in emergency situations. Thanks to sustainable production processes and local suppliers, we also minimise the impact on people and the environment.

Good to know
Our ultra-modern fire testing laboratory (ELBA) is where we conduct intensive application research and test all products and systems in practice – i.e. under real-world conditions. One of the practical results: Cigarette smoke does not trigger an alarm with our high-quality smoke detectors as long as the cigarette is not held directly under the smoke detector.
Our goal is the meaningful, sustainable further development of our products, which is why ELBA was conceived as our very own, independent fire testing laboratory, with short distances (both geographically and organisationally), flexible adaptation options and exceptionally high quality.
A good example of this synergy is our new series of Genius Plus Edition smoke detectors.

Apartment
A fire can break out anywhere in an apartment, not just in the bedroom or children’s room: in fact, most of the technical devices nowadays are located in the living room. The risk of fire is therefore highest in this area. In principle, all rooms (except bathrooms and kitchens), as well as escape routes up to the staircase should be equipped with smoke detectors. In smaller residential units, we recommend the stand-alone smoke detectors Genius Plus Edition.

Single houses and apartment buildings
Single houses or apartment buildings usually extend over several floors. They are also often larger and more complex than an apartment. The earliest possible alarm signal is therefore even more important in a multi-storey building. This is where a comprehensive alarm system with the radio controlled Genius Plus X Edition smoke detectors makes sense. In combination with the Radio Module Standard X, an instant warning is also sounded on the top floor if a fire breaks out in the basement.
